Sterling Silver (92.5% Silver)

Sterling Silver is  an alloy of 92.5% Silver and usually 7.5% copper.  It is an alloy invented several hundred years ago. It tarnishes and can develop fire-scale when soldered.  A man who studies metals decided it was time to make a better silver alloy.  The result is Argentium Silver, a new modern alloy containing 94% silver and a small amount of germanium, which changes the alloy into an amazing product.
When an alternative is available in Argentium, we plan to phase out our stocks of Sterling.  Argentium Silver is a little higher in price, but has so many better features.

NOTES -
1.  GST is INCLUDED in all prices.
2.  Most wires are priced and ordered by the centimetre. If you order 1.5 metres of a wire (150cm), the shopping cart will show 150 items in your cart. Don't be alarmed.  The wire will be suplied in one piece.
3. Patterned wires are bright - no patina. The images here are darkened to show the pattern.
