Firescoff Flux - not the cheapest flux but revolutionary.
Non-flammable; fluoride- and chloride-free.
Completely water soluble, Firescoff eliminates the need for acid-based pickle solutions—making it safer, faster and more cost-effective for all your soldering tasks.
Simply spray it on, solder, then rinse clean with warm water.
Multiple soldering with single application.
Firescoff preserves the original polish, color and patina of precious metal.
Provides ultra-consistent solder flow and unbeatable protection against firescale.
It acts as a protective, heat-resistant barrier for stones.
Special Instructions 1 -
Clean metal surfaces thoroughly.
Gently heat the metal to approximately 120°C. Suggestion: Place a drop of water on the metal surface. Apply heat until the water boils off completely, THEN spray Firescoff Ceramic Flux onto the warm metal from 150 - 200mm away.
The spray will instantly form a white, matte, ceramic, powdery coating.
Reapply if you still see reflection on the metal or if treating gemstones.
Solder as normal. If using paste solder, apply the solder first, then spray with Firescoff.
Special Instructions 2 -
If your bottle Firescoff will not be used for any extended period of time, turn the bottle upside down and pump 3–4 times to clear the feeder tube and nozzle.
Wipe with a moist sponge before storing.
If the solution is stored below 20°C, it crystallizes, which may create clots in the tube and nozzle. If crystallization occurs, place the bottle in hot water for 5–10 minutes or in a heated ultrasonic (43°C) for 15 minutes.
Instructions and Safety Data Sheet packed with each bottle.
