As a general rule, you need to have two teeth of the blade within the thickness of your metal. The right hand column of the chart shows the recommended blade for the thickness of the metal you are cutting. Fine blades have more teeth per centimetre.
A saw cut is initiated from the edge of the metal OR from a carefully pre-drilled hole in the metal. The drill size column shows the minimum hole size for the blade to pass through.
